Contracts & Purchase Orders

Track purchase orders, contract values, and vendor spending in VenTrack.

Overview

VenTrack's contract management lets you track purchase orders (POs) linked to vendors. Monitor contract values, expiration dates, and total spend across your vendor portfolio.

Adding a purchase order

Navigate to a vendor's detail page and click the Contracts tab, then Add Purchase Order.

Viewing contracts

The Contracts page (sidebar) shows all purchase orders across your organization. You can:

  • Search by PO number or vendor name
  • Sort by start date, expiry date, or amount
  • Filter by status

Each PO links back to its associated vendor for quick navigation.

Spend tracking

VenTrack aggregates contract values to show:

  • Per-vendor spend — total active contract value for each vendor, visible on their detail page
  • Organization-wide spend — total spend across all vendors on the dashboard

Contract expiration

Contracts approaching expiration are surfaced on the dashboard. VenTrack tracks the expiryDate field and marks contracts as expired automatically.

Linking to evaluations

When assigning an evaluation to a vendor, you can optionally link it to a specific purchase order. This connects the evaluation response to the contract for audit purposes.
