Managing Vendors
Add, organize, and monitor your third-party vendors in VenTrack.
Overview
The vendor directory is the core of VenTrack. Every vendor in your portfolio has a dedicated page with evaluations, sanctions screening, contracts, documents, and risk information.
Adding a vendor
Click Add Vendor from the Vendors page. Required and optional fields include:

After creation, VenTrack automatically runs a sanctions screening against global watchlists.
Vendor detail page
Each vendor has a detail page with tabs:
- Overview — summary cards showing risk score, sanctions status, security score, and key metrics
- Evaluations — questionnaire responses assigned to this vendor
- Contracts — purchase orders linked to this vendor
- Documents — files attached to this vendor
- Sanctions — detailed sanctions screening results and match resolution
Editing and deleting vendors
Click the three-dot menu on the vendor detail page to edit or delete a vendor. Deleting a vendor also removes associated contracts and evaluation data.
Vendor status
Vendors can be in one of three statuses:
- Active — currently engaged vendor
- Inactive — no longer in use
- Under Review — pending evaluation or investigation
Sanctions flag
If a sanctions match is confirmed (disposition: "Confirmed Match"), the vendor is flagged with a persistent red warning banner on their detail page. This flag remains until the resolution is changed or cleared.
Search and filtering
Use the search bar on the Vendors page to find vendors by name. The vendor list supports sorting by name, risk score, and other fields.
